Derek is a research professional with more than 15 years’ experience, having worked in Singapore and many parts of Asia. Currently he runs and manages the Kadence Singapore office, and is extremely experienced in answering commercial clients’ needs, having worked with some of the biggest brands (e.g. HSBC, Samsung, Arla, Suntory, etc.) in the world, using research to help them in their innovation process.
Derek has contributed to conferences on topics such as consumer satisfaction and purchase journeys and was instrumental in Kadence winning marketing research awards from 2019 (Gold, Market Research Agency of the Year) to 2021 (Gold, Market Research Agency of the Year, Consultant Agency of the Year)
Besides commercial projects, Derek has also provided research support for entities such as WWF, whether it be initiatives around water conservation or corporate engagement to facilitate sponsorship conversations.
